Job Summary
Conduct armed patrols, manage access control, and monitor CCTV and alarm systems to ensure facility safety. Respond to emergencies, report security breaches in writing, and enforce site-specific protocols while maintaining relationships with clients. Greet visitors, answer phones, and provide customer service in accordance with Allied Universal standards. Requires DoD clearance, 2+ years armed security experience, and federal background check.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of armed security experience
- 1+ years experience as a full municipal police officer
- 2+ years of service in a U.S. armed forces component with an honorable discharge
- willingness to undergo a thorough background check from the federal government including a credit check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current driver's license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
- Basic Life Support CPR/AED and First Aid from the AHA or ARC
- Federal and state firearms qualifications
- National Weapons Detection Training Program (NWDTP) certification
- OC, Baton and handcuffing certification
- Defensive tactics and de-escalation tactics certification
- one or more of the following: Minimum of two (2) years of armed security experience, Minimum of two (2) years US military service, Minimum of one (1) year full-time armed civilian law enforcement experience
- Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
