Job Summary
Maintain security of prisoners in the courtroom by escorting them to and from holding cells utilizing handcuffs, shackles, and other restraints. Transport prisoners from correctional institutes to courthouses and medical facilities, including escorting admitted patients. Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. This per-diem role requires standing for up to six hours and involves varying weekly hours across the first, second, and third shifts. Candidates must possess a State Unrestricted Carry Permit and a State Armed Security License, with a minimum of three years in detention officer, law enforcement, or military police experience.
Required Qualifications

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Can always stay alert
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of detention officer, law enforcement, or military police experience
- State Unrestricted Carry Permit
- State Armed Security License
- This position is considered a per-diem position and hours will vary week to week
- 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift
