Job Summary
Maintain security of prisoners in the courtroom by escorting them to and from holding cells using handcuffs, shackles, and other restraints. Transport prisoners from correctional institutes to courthouses and medical facilities, completing reports that record observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. This per-diem role requires a high school diploma, three years of detention or law enforcement experience, a state unrestricted carry permit, and an armed security license. The position offers a $35/hour base pay with flexible scheduling across the first, second, and third shifts.
