Job Summary
Operate and maintain armored company vehicles while transporting high-value assets securely, ensuring safety, security, and control at all times. Load and unload cargo with situational awareness, monitor surroundings during stops, and respond to security threats per company procedures. Communicate via two-way radios with dispatch and clients, follow assigned routes and schedules, and complete required documentation including manifests and security logs. Perform routine vehicle inspections and represent the company professionally. Maintain a valid state driver's license, Level III or IV Security License, and firearm proficiency; possess a clean driving record, ability to lift 70+ pounds, and a Medical Examiner's Certificate. Work a full-time 40-hour schedule including weekends and holidays, with mandatory overtime as needed. Required Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Level III or IV Security License as required by state law
- Demonstrated proficiency with firearms through state-approved training
- Completion of state-mandated firearm training courses and proficiency tests
- Ability to lift at least 70 pounds and maneuver cargo weighing up to several hundred pounds
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and adherence to security protocols
- Ability to complete and maintain a Medical Examiner's Certificate from a DOT-approved provider
- Availability to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, and mandatory overtime contingent upon operational needs
