Job Summary
Provide healing therapeutic services to students, parents, and teachers in Fort Wayne Community Schools to enhance development and achievement. Deliver prevention, early intervention, and treatment through group, individual, and family therapy while ensuring immediate support for students experiencing trauma or danger. Coordinate student use of external agency programs and assist in identifying educational, vocational, and personal goals. Facilitate social, academic, and instructional groups to support behavioral needs and communicate mental health practices to parents and staff. Serve as a liaison between the district, outside agencies, and the community, participating in committees and outreach activities to address school-wide needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology or related field
- Indiana State License in one of the following areas preferred: Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist
- Eligible for clinical license within four (4) years of date of hire
- Must sign letter of commitment
- Indiana driver's license
