Arlington: SPED Self-Contained Teacher

Develop and deliver differentiated academic instruction while maintaining a classroom environment conducive to student growth. Design standards-based lesson plans, create authentic assessments, and provide whole group, small group, and one-to-one tutoring to support students with special needs. Manage student behavior, collaborate extensively with support teachers and aides, and monitor student performance through data-based documentation. Maintain accurate records of grades and behavior, communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders, and participate in staff development activities. Requires on-site regular attendance and adherence to district policies.
