Arlington: 7th/8th Science Teacher

Deliver differentiated academic instruction using research-based strategies to maximize student intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Design standards-based lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials while implementing district curriculum and scope-and-sequence documents. Manage classroom climate and behavior through clear rules, small-group tutoring, and one-on-one support for at-risk or special needs students. Collaborate with ESL, SpEd, and support staff to ensure consistent instructional delivery and monitor student progress through data-based documentation. Maintain accurate records of grades and behavior, communicate with parents and stakeholders, and participate in staff development and extracurricular activities. Requires valid Texas certification, ESL certification, and a Bachelor's degree.
