Arlington: 7th/8th Science Teacher

Develop and deliver differentiated academic instruction using research-based strategies to maximize student potential across intellectual, emotional, and social domains. Design standards-based lesson plans, create authentic assessments, and provide whole group, small group, and one-on-one tutoring as needed. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a conducive learning environment while collaborating extensively with support teachers, ESL specialists, and special education staff for at-risk students. Monitor student performance data, maintain accurate documentation of grades and behavior, and communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with district policies and participate in staff development and extracurricular activities. Requires on-site regular attendance and adherence to the Student Code of Conduct.
