Job Summary
Director, Game Entertainment and Special Events leads the end-to-end creation and execution of game-day entertainment, including pre-game presentations, National Anthem, color guard, halftime performances, in-game promotions, and outdoor entertainment; serves as executive producer for video board presentation and run of show; develops game-day timelines and scripts for PA and presentation; collaborates with Business, Broadcast, Production, and Stadium Operations teams; devises new pre-game and promotional events; oversees entertainment staff (cheerleaders, drumline, mascot, etc.); supervises the Director/Cardinals Cheerleaders and Coordinator; plans team-related events (Draft Party, team outings, parades, charity/community events support), and supports Cardinals Charities and Community Relations; requires the role to work at Tempe office and State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ; travel 2-3 times per year; non-traditional hours including nights and weekends; background check required; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent education, training, and experience)
- At least seven (7) years of experience in professional broadcast sports entertainment, NFL or Special Events experience is a plus
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication skills, multi-tasking and problem solving in high-stress live-event environment
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Strong understanding of brand standards
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Willingness and ability to travel 2-3 times a year for appearances, conferences, league meetings, and team events
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Background check clearance
