Job Summary
Argos Shift Manager responsible for managing shifts within Argos stores, coaching teams and serving customers on the shop floor. Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, organise the warehouse and deliveries, drive sales and profitability, ensure safety and compliance, and model excellent service and values. Key duties include directing a team, providing on-the-job coaching, meeting or exceeding KPIs, and delivering a brilliant customer experience through knowledgeable product/service execution.
Required Qualifications
- A track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same
- Experience of motivating others, driving sales and performance, and keeping operations running smoothly
- Operational leadership skills — taken responsibility for operations in the absence of management
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs — such as sales, availability, customer satisfaction or colleague engagement
- Walk the talk — showing up every day as a role model for service and values
