Job Summary
Collect admission tickets and distribute programs while assisting guests with seating and answering facility inquiries. Enforce camera policies and ensure late seating protocols are followed. Alert management regarding special needs or emergency situations. This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and quickly reading event tickets. Six months of prior usher experience is preferred. Applicants must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to assist guests in wheelchairs.
Required Qualifications
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to stand and walk (including stairs) for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to quickly read and interpret information printed on event tickets
- Must be able to assist guests in wheelchairs
- Must be alert at all times and be able to think and act quickly and appropriately in the event of an emergency
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months of experience as an usher in a comparable venue preferred
