Job Summary
Greet customers and check in prepaid pass holders at the reception desk, while staffing the cashier and rental desk to process payments and hand out skates. Monitor the rink during open hours for cleanliness and safety, addressing issues with individual skaters as needed. After closing, clean the rink by vacuuming, sweeping, and emptying trash receptacles. Perform any other duties required to operate the rink. This part-time role operates Independence Community Ice on a daily basis with an hourly rate of $15.00-$19.00, including 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and in team environments
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Creative and proactive problem solver
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Cashier is a plus
