Job Summary
Area Vice President – Strategic Account Management leads a matrixed team to drive national account strategies with national accounts, leading academic institutions and cancer centers. Develop high-level, executive-level relationships with C-suite stakeholders, build account-specific strategies to benefit Caris Life Sciences, and coordinate a matrix of resources (integration managers, pathology services, research collaboration, medical affairs, EMR integration, data, and clinical trials) to fulfill contractual obligations and drive volume. Mentors direct reports through executive-level discussions on collaborative projects within oncology networks and ensures performance of accounts across national institutions. Travel approximately 75% nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a sales, consultative or national account management capacity
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-level, C-Suite relationships
- Strong leadership, management, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to discuss relationships at top cancer centers and academic institutions in the United States
- Subject matter expertise in a therapeutic area (cell/molecular biology, oncology) and drive national collaborative strategies
- Preferred: Masters/MBA/Doctorate
