Job Summary
Conduct on-the-job training for new hires ranging from managers to franchisees, ensuring adherence to daily operational procedures and training standards. Execute field training programs, operational assessments, and monthly or quarterly L&S training sessions while coaching team members and identifying development opportunities. Lead by example in key positions across Austin and San Antonio locations, coordinating training delivery, auditing operations, and supporting direct supervisors with efficiency initiatives. Maintain inventory capabilities and proficiency in restaurant systems like ALOHA or CTUIT. Requires 7 years in restaurant management with at least 2 years in bakery experience, plus alcohol and food handling certifications. Schedule includes holidays, Monday through Friday, and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Minimum 7 years' experience, in restaurant management and/or hospitality restaurant
- Capable of conducting and assessing restaurant inventory
- Must have knowledge of restaurant systems, including but not limited to ALOHA, CTUIT or other POS systems
- Must have knowledge of MS Office Suites
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills with qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission
- Exceptional organization and leadership skills
- Team player, willing to learn and adapt to the changes as company grows
- Must have appropriate city, state and federal certifications according to location of restaurant, including alcohol and food handling certificates
- Food Safety Certification for Managers
- High school or equivalent
- Restaurant management: 3 years
- Must have at least 2 years of bakery experience
- Restaurant Industry: 1 year
- Training & development: 1 year
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat
- Must be able to stand and walk nearly continuously
- Must be able to reach overhead
- Must be able to work in coolers and freezers
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred high-volume and fast pace restaurant experience
- Understanding and execution of kitchen operations is highly preferred
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Restaurant Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Training & development: 1 year (Preferred)
