Job Summary
Area Supervisor (Water Treatment Level 3) responsible for supervising all aspects of multi-utility operations within the assigned area, coordinating maintenance activities using Lucity CMMS, monitoring system performance via SCADA/Apogee, and ensuring safety, regulatory, and contractual compliance. Lead staff including recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluation; develop safety documentation (OERPs, SJP, SWPs, ERP, SOPs); perform site and field hazard assessments; oversee preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance with operators and external contractors; monitor equipment and systems on-site and remotely; identify performance issues and implement corrective actions to prevent injuries, downtime, or failures; participate in emergency first response; assist with budget forecasting and inventory control; location is Kamloops, BC with some travel to plants and construction sites.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of district energy and or water, wastewater and utility operations
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
- EOCP Water Operator 3, and or Wastewater Operator 3 would be an asset
- Valid driver’s license; must be able to provide driver's abstract.
