Job Summary
Manage daily scheduling of Release of Information Specialists across multiple client sites to ensure productivity and compliance with federal and state regulations. Adjust work assignments for peak periods, leaves, and vacancies, while providing coverage for backlogs or absences. Perform quality assurance monitoring, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback for ROI Specialists under the direction of the Area Manager. Approve bi-weekly payroll and PTO requests for on-site employees. Treat patients, co-workers, and medical center personnel with courtesy and respect to promote a positive customer service image. Supports the Area Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 years supervisory/management experience in acute care setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy information standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Associates Degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration or health related field or equivalent experience
