Area Supervisor

Job Summary

Clock in and out at every store, verify employee timekeeping via eHub, and visit a minimum of three locations daily to inspect cleaning procedures and ensure staff presence. Supervise field personnel, team leads, and custodians while performing hands-on cleaning tasks, maintaining staffing levels through scheduling, advertising, and disciplinary actions. Conduct site quality inspections against SCOPES standards, manage supply and equipment purchases, and lead continuous improvement efforts. Communicate daily with store facilitators and clients, complete required forms and reports, and model company values and safety protocols in compliance with OSHA requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Must live in the assigned area
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull a Maximum of 50 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, and extend to reach required areas
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be available to work overnights and on weekends
  • Must be available to work during the Holidays, End of Year - Required - Blackout Dates
  • BLACKOUT DATES - No Exceptions - No Time Off
  • 2nd week of the month of November through the 2nd week in January following the New Year
  • Must have Mobile App Ready to Clock in at Start and End of Shift
  • Must wear a uniform T-shirt to enter the location and present a Virtual Badge ID
  • Must use Closed Shoes at all times
  • Must be able to follow all safety rules, procedures, and measures necessary to remain in compliance with OSHA requirements
  • Must be able to clock in and clock out in every store
  • Must ensure all employees are clocking in and out every day using the eHub (Timekeeping Portal)
  • Must work the store with the team if any position is missing personnel on any day
  • Must visit a minimum of 3 stores every day
  • Must follow up on the other stores every day if any issues arise until the visit is provided the next day
  • Must visit job sites regularly (Daily-Weekly-Weekends) to meet with our team and the Client (the customer)
  • Must verify completion of work assigned at each job site
  • Must take on all actions necessary to maintain staffing needs, including but not limited to: advertising, training, scheduling, and providing disciplinary measures if/and when needed to all employees
  • Must complete, submit, and communicate all necessary forms, reports, or paperwork required in staffing, maintenance, and management of each job site location assigned
  • Must oversee the completion and timely submission of all new hire employee paperwork, including compliance-required documents, to the corporate office for processing
  • Must oversee and maintain a safe and orderly work environment
  • Must champion and model the company's values and code of conduct, and ethics
  • Must ensure field personnel are following activities and behaviors that represent the company's policies and procedures
  • Must understand, anticipate, and shape Client expectations, holding a brand status
  • Must monitor project activities and ensure completion within the scheduled time and budget
  • Must manage operational performance through utilizing Team Software (E-HUB), overtime, headcount, and other metrics
  • Must perform site quality inspections using Client (SCOPES) standards
  • Must provide document performance forms to management (Client SCOPES)
  • Must communicate time-sensitive issues, including but not limited to work-related injuries, claims of discrimination, harassment, and other human resource matters, accordingly
  • Must maintain, ensure, and request all necessary supplies, chemicals, and equipment available and at each job location assigned
  • Must lead continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts
  • Must manage and maintain the purchase of supplies and equipment for the optimization of resources for each location
  • Must attend daily, weekly, and quarterly planning and communication meetings
  • Must communicate with the Client store facilitator and, Technician daily
  • Must effectively train all employees in their full job responsibilities
  • Must effectively train all team leads in full job responsibilities
  • Must train every employee and team lead at each job site assigned
  • Must ensure all field personnel have received the required training
  • Must monitor and inspect stores to ensure they follow the required cleaning procedures
  • Must recruit for open positions by posting, interviewing, and selecting candidates
  • Must coach, train, and appraise direct reports
  • Must retain staff at each store to contribute to the company's goals and serve the customer with exceptional service
  • Must perform other related duties as assigned
  • Must have full knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, and Mobile Applications
  • Must have mobile timekeeping applications knowledge
  • Must have oral communication skills

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree or related experience
  • Must have prior supervisory and/or management experience
  • Must have minimum 1 yr. experience working as a supervisor in the janitorial or cleaning industry
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be available to travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish (Preferred, not a requirement)
  • Prior Supervisory and/or Management experience preferred
