Job Summary
Area Supervisor overseeing and managing the local School Crossing Guard programs in Burlingame, Belmont, and Hillsborough. Lead a field-based team, communicate effectively, and ensure safety and timely responses to site needs. Responsibilities include coordinating before/after school assignments, supervising crossing guards, maintaining equipment and records, and supporting the leadership team in delivering reliable, school-calendar-based coverage. Requires dependable transportation, a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and availability during school days. Compensation is $24 per hour for 5 hours per day with mileage and device reimbursements; seasonal, part-time role aligned with the school calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Able to lift/ transport various items or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
- Must be available to work with crossing guards at their field assignments both before and after school
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Basic computer skills are required
- Seasonal and part-time position following the school calendar
