Job Summary
The Area Superintendent (AS) is responsible for supervising projects, overseeing safety compliance, managing trade partner coordination, scheduling, and quality control. The AS will mentor the workforce, promote safety, maintain accurate cost records, ensure quality control, and develop strong relationships with stakeholders. Qualifications include a 4-year degree in a related field and 5-6 years of commercial construction experience, along with proficiency in relevant software.
Required Qualifications
- A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management
- Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong communication skills
- Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel-based templates, Prolog, Primavera and the AutoDesk Suite
- Experienced in construction layout, blueprint reading and shop drawing reading

- OSHA 10 Certification
- CPR & First Aid Certification
