Job Summary
Area Superintendant will oversee area-wide construction activities for multifamily projects in the Denver Metro area, managing subcontractors, tracking manpower, scheduling material deliveries, coordinating inspections, ensuring quality and on-time completion, assisting with safety and environmental plans, performing constructability reviews, conducting QC checks, verifying work against drawings and specifications, ensuring code compliance, motivating staff, and maintaining daily project information flow. Requires minimum 5 years of field experience in multifamily construction, proficiency with construction-management software (e.g., Procore or Autodesk), strong planning and communication skills, and the ability to reside in or relocate to the Denver Metro area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive construction field experience
- Multifamily construction experience
- Plans/reviews: read and understand plans, drawings, and shop drawings
- Construction management software experience (Procore or Autodesk)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Project
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with project team, customers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and employees
- Knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and building codes
- Reside in or relocate to the Denver Metro area
- Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, and CPM schedules
- Ability to problem solve
- Maintains required safety training profile
- Maintains daily reports
- Performs QC checklists
- Ensures code compliance
