Job Summary
Area Store Manager Trainee program to develop store leaders through in-store operational training, online learning, role-based immersion, and live training events, with placement into a permanent Store Manager position upon program completion. The SMT program covers day-to-day store operations and supports training locations while trainees learn in areas such as sales, credit, collections, warehouse, delivery, bookkeeping, and use of POS tools, with responsibilities including inventory, promotions, and potential temporary store management in the Manager’s absence; travel to multiple training locations may be required. Requires completing Farmers Academy training, Thrive Program rotations, and in-person live training events, and demonstrates readiness for Store Manager responsibilities upon program completion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; three (3) years experience in practical supervisory retail and/or sales experience; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
