Area Service Manager

Job Summary
Coordinate with Service Coordinators to assign technicians and dispatch jobs as promised. Review service tickets for follow-up, parts, and customer communication. Collaborate with Supply, Sales, and Technicians to expedite parts and ensure efficient scheduling of repairs and installations. Negotiate labor allowances with manufacturers and identify field training needs for mentorship. Support invoicing, manage projects and labor, and forecast hiring needs. Assist the Director of Safety with implementations and site visits. Build and maintain a customer base through business meetings and site visits. Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers while supporting financial targets.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 5 years of experience
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical or business related field
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience in HVAC
- Experience and knowledge of operation processes associated with the installation and/or service of HVAC equipment and building systems
- Experience working with and overseeing union employees
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
