Job Summary
Lead a geographical service area by executing safety and human resource initiatives while achieving budget objectives and strategic targets. Manage revenue forecasting, workforce development, and talent growth alongside P&L responsibility for overhead items like fleet and tools. Oversee service coordination to ensure technician skill levels meet customer needs and drive continuous improvement through performance management and technical training. Coach, counsel, and develop all service employees while ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance across shop and customer sites. Travel to customer job sites for high-visibility projects, managing risk in service agreements and repairs. Report to the Regional Service Leader with a dotted line to the Area General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in HVAC or a related field
- technical systems (or equipment or skilled trades)
- 3+ years' experience managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules
- Project management skills to oversee and drive successful project execution for startups and customer requests
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Deep knowledge of P&L and annual operating plans
- Tech-savvy with expertise in Microsoft applications
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months
- no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- Must be able to travel to customer job sites
- Must be able to work outdoors
- Must be able to work in mechanical/equipment rooms
- Must be able to be exposed to variable weather conditions
- Must be able to be exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to be exposed to heights
- Must be able to be exposed to other variable environmental conditions based on location
- Must be able to pass additional drug screening
