Job Summary
Senior Catering Sales Manager responsible for booking and servicing catering business to meet revenue goals across multiple locations; lead the Meetings and Events team in prospecting, developing and retaining catering business; conduct site visits, plan and service booked events, and help develop and implement catering sales strategies. Responsibilities include coordinating with F&B and events teams to create competitive wedding packages and specialty menus, researching the competitive catering environment, forecasting revenue spend, and driving client satisfaction and repeat business. Requires establishing relationships with clients, proactively prospecting new opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution, timely proposals and documents (BEOs, resumes), and robust online presence. Desired qualifications include four years of catering sales management experience in a full-service hotel, Certified Meeting Planner or similar designation, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum four years catering sales management experience in a full-service hotel environment
- Certified Meeting Planner, Certified Professional in Catering and Events, or similar designation preferred
- General knowledge of all hotel departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
