Area Security Manager

Job Summary
Oversee the client's corporate security department, managing guard force operations, physical security, policies, programs, and training. Collaborate with stakeholders to align security requirements with regulatory compliance and inspect sites for adequate coverage. Manage staffing schedules, including overtime approvals, and audit billing for baseline and service requests. Conduct regular inspections of security posts, fire equipment, and emergency systems while monitoring facility and personnel safety. Evaluate security incidents, coordinate incident response planning, and develop security awareness programs. Respond to client requests for investigation services and assess impacts of environmental changes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Six years of progressively responsible security and safety program management experience
- Project management skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
- Able to assist in facilitating progressive change
- Serve as an effective team leader
- Able to identify and adapt quickly to emerging situations
- Strategic thinker and analytical ability
- Results-oriented and client focused
- Physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions
- Regular computer usage
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment
