Job Summary
Area Sales Representative for France and Spain with on-site role at Pfäffikon, Switzerland. Responsible for developing a strategic sales plan, driving revenue targets and market penetration in France and Spain, building relationships with research laboratories, universities, biotech/pharma/CRO customers, and delivering business presentations, quotations, and demonstrations at events. Requires deep life-science knowledge (biology/biophysics/neurobiology), hands-on electrophysiology expertise (patch-clamp, MEA), strong communication skills, ability to travel up to 50%, and proficiency in French, Spanish, and English. Collaboration with sales, marketing, and technical teams to forecast, report, and manage customer workflows; work in-office with travel for events and customer visits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Biophysics, or a related life-science field
- Deep knowledge in neurobiology and electrophysiology
- Hands-on experience with in vitro electrophysiology techniques, including patch-clamp and preferably Multi-Electrode Array (MEA) systems
- Extroverted with excellent communication and relationship skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to travel up to 50% for conferences, meetings, demos, etc.
- Proficiency in French, Spanish, and English
