Job Summary
Drive sales results and meet quotas for NeuroStar capital systems across the New York City and New Jersey territory. Identify and develop new providers within the region, targeting large physician in-network practices and local psychiatric hospitals. Educate physicians on clinical trial results and device features while establishing relationships with thought leaders. Partner with the Practice Development Manager to provide post-sale support, reimbursement assistance, and patient education materials. Share strategic input with home office to influence future marketing and sales direction. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years of B2B sales experience, and 5–7 years selling capital medical devices. Valid driver's license, 50% travel, and top 10% performance track record required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
- Two (2) years+ of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
- 5–7 years of successful experience selling capital medical devices in a clinical office setting
- Highly competitive with a consistent track record of top 10% performance in previous positions
- Residence within the New York City/New Jersey geography or close proximity of the territory
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with CRM systems
- Ability to travel by air, rail, or auto up to 50% of the time
- Authorization to work for any employer in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience selling disruptive new technology in hospitals and/or large office environments
- Knowledge of selling a system that contains capital equipment with a disposable component
- Experience working in the Neuroscience and/or Psychiatry space
- Contract negotiation on product offering
