Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology accountable for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning across a multi-state territory (Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh). Responsibilities include engaging nephrology-focused healthcare professionals, promoting company products to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals and dialysis organizations; maintaining up-to-date call records; traveling daily within the territory; building positive relationships within marketplace networks; analyzing sales performance and adjusting business plans; and collaborating with Commercial partners. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales with a track record of top performance, and strong account management and disease-state knowledge in nephrology/renal/dialysis. Travel within the territory is expected, with a professional and proactive sales orientation.
