Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the DC region overseeing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products. You will engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff to promote the portfolio across a territory that includes Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh. Daily travel within the assigned territory. Sell benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other key customers; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; establish relationships across marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain up-to-date call records and submit reports; represent the company professionally; collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis preferred
- account management experience
- top sales performer
- IDN systems experience preferred
