Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for nephrology in the Washington, DC region responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products. You will engage nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations across office, hospital, and dialysis settings, with daily travel within the assigned territory. Sell portfolio benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and related staff; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; establish productive relationships within territory networks; analyze sales performance and adjust plans; maintain up-to-date call records and submit reports. Collaborate with Commercial partners to drive growth and represent the company professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis preferred
- account management experience
- knowledge of account-based selling
- demonstrated top sales performance
