Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within the Washington, DC region and surrounding territory, including Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh. You will engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and their staff to promote the portfolio, consistently travel within the assigned territory, demonstrate advanced disease-state and product knowledge, build positive relationships across marketplace networks, analyze performance to adjust business plans, maintain up-to-date call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners to drive growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- preferred experience in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
