Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the DC metro region responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products. You will engage with nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations across Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA, promote portfolio benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals, demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, build productive relationships within the marketplace, analyze performance to adjust business plans, maintain up-to-date call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners across the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
