Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for the nephrology portfolio across Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh. Will engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff to promote products; travel daily within the assigned territory; build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other key customers; demonstrate advanced disease-state knowledge and product knowledge; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain up-to-date call records and reports; collaborate with Commercial partners; represent CSL Vifor professionally both externally and internally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
