Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology responsible for Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA/Pittsburgh markets; conducts field sales, engages nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other healthcare professionals; travels daily within assigned territory and promotes company products, demonstrates disease-state and product knowledge, builds relationships across hospital and office settings, analyzes sales performance, and submits reports while representing the company professionally in the market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
