Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the Washington, DC region responsible for sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products. Engage with nephrology care professionals in office, hospital, and dialysis settings, with daily travel within the assigned territory (Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA/Pittsburgh). Call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff to promote portfolio of company products; demonstrate disease state knowledge and promote product knowledge; establish relationships within marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain up-to-date call records and submit reports; collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Nephrology/renal/dialysis experience preferred
- Experience working within IDN systems is highly preferred
