Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the Washington, DC region: manage sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engage with nephrology care providers in office, hospital, and dialysis settings within the assigned territory; travel daily within the territory to call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other key customers; promote product knowledge, establish productive relationships, analyze sales performance, and maintain up-to-date call records while collaborating with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
