Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within a defined territory (Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA/Pittsburgh). Engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations and their staff; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, pharmacists and related staff; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; maintain up-to-date call records and reports; travel daily within the assigned territory and collaborate with commercial partners to drive performance and market share.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
