Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology covering Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA/Pittsburgh. Responsibilities include executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations and staff to promote portfolio; daily travel within the assigned territory; sell to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals and other key customers; demonstrate advanced disease state knowledge and promote product knowledge; establish positive relationships within marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plan; maintain up-to-date call records and submit reports; represent the company professionally; collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis experience
- Top sales performer
- Account management experience

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry

- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Renal, Dialysis, Nephrology, Specialty pharma, Rare Disease, and Hospital sales experience (preferred)
