Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for driving nephrology-focused pharmaceutical sales and market development across the DC region. In this role you will engage nephrologists, dialysis centers, hospitals, and health systems to promote the portfolio, advance disease-state knowledge, and execute strategic plans. You will travel daily within the assigned territory (Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh), call on key customers, build productive relationships, analyze performance to refine the commercial strategy, and collaborate with Commercial partners. Maintain up-to-date field reports and embody CSL Vifor’s professional image while contributing to patient outcomes across the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Renal, Dialysis, Nephrology, Specialty pharma, Rare Disease, and Hospital sales experience (preferred)
- IDN systems experience (highly preferred)
