Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the Washington, DC territory responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products. Engages nephrology-focused healthcare professionals in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; travels daily within the assigned territory; Call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff to promote the portfolio; demonstrate disease and product knowledge; establish productive relationships within marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust plans; maintain up-to-date field call records and reports; collaborate with Commercial partners to advance the business; represent the company professionally both externally and internally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience
