Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within the Washington DC metro region and neighboring markets. You will engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related staff in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; travel daily within the assigned territory; call on physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other key customers; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain up-to-date field call records and reports; collaborate with commercial partners to represent the company professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorf0s degree
- 5+ years7 experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
