Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology territory covering Washington, DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh; responsible for sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology/renal therapies. Travel within assigned territory to engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other key customers; promote product portfolio, demonstrate disease-state knowledge, maintain up-to-date call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred in Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis)
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience in a complex, competitive marketplace
