Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within the Washington DC territory, engaging nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; daily travel within the assigned territory (DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh); promote product portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; demonstrate disease state and product knowledge, build relationships within marketplace networks, analyze sales performance, and maintain up-to-date call records; represent the company professionally and collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
