Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology in the Washington DC territory. You will execute sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engage with nephrology-focused health care professionals in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; travel daily within the assigned territory (Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh); call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and their staff to promote portfolio products; demonstrate disease state and product knowledge; analyze sales performance and adjust plans; maintain up-to-date call records and reports; represent the company professionally and collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
