Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology covering a territory that includes Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA/Pittsburgh. Responsibilities include executing sales strategies, market development, and planning; engaging with nephrology-related healthcare professionals across office, hospital, and dialysis settings; frequent travel within the territory; promoting portfolio products to nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related personnel; demonstrating disease-state and product knowledge; maintaining relationships and field activity records; representing CSL Vifor professionally and collaborating with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry (nephrology/renal/dialysis preferred)
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account management experience
- Knowledge of account-based selling
- Ability to navigate a complex, competitive marketplace
