Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology responsible for driving sales, market development, and strategic planning across a Washington, DC-area territory including DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA. You will engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other key customers to promote the portfolio, demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, and build productive external networks. Role requires daily travel within the territory, thorough call reporting, and collaboration with Commercial partners to adapt plans and achieve sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis)
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Experience engaging with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations
- Ability to travel daily within the territory (DC, VA, MD, PA region)
- Demonstrated disease state and product knowledge in renal therapies
- Strong collaboration with commercial partners and accurate call reporting
