Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology covering Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA/Pittsburgh. Responsibilities include executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engaging with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and their staff; promoting portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals; maintaining up-to-date call records and submitting reports; traveling daily within the assigned territory; building positive relationships across marketplace networks; analyzing sales performance and adjusting the business plan accordingly; collaborating with Commercial partners and representing the company professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis preferred
- account management experience
- IDN systems experience preferred
