Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products across the Washington, DC region, engaging nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other key stakeholders in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; required to travel daily within the assigned territory and build positive relationships while promoting product knowledge and maintaining up-to-date call records. Responsibilities include territory management, call on physicians and staff, collaboration with commercial partners, and ongoing analysis of sales performance to adjust business plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
