Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the Washington, DC region. Responsible for executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for the nephrology product portfolio; engaging with nephrology-focused health care professionals across office, hospital, and dialysis settings; maintaining up-to-date call records and travel within the defined territory; promoting company products to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other key customers; analyzing sales performance and adjusting business plans; partnering with Commercial teams to drive territory growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 5+ years7 experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
