Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the Washington, DC region. You will execute sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio; engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff across office, hospital, and dialysis settings; travel daily within the assigned territory (Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh) to promote products, demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, and maintain positive relationships. Responsible for call activity, reporting, and collaboration with Commercial partners to drive sales performance and market growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis preferred
- account management experience
- proven track record as a top sales performer
- knowledge of nephrology/renal therapies
- experience with IDN systems preferred
- ability to travel daily within assigned territory
